Cake Eating Contest on Channel 5

A BIG shout out to our Cake Eaters!(Leah, Jenny, Rafael). Today they came out for the Wedding Cake eating contest at 6:30 A.M. Anyone who can eat that much cake deserves 250.00 in credit towards a cake!! I wonder how they feel right now! AAARRRGGGHHH!!! That was so much fun. Wow, and Paul from Channel 5.... SO much fun, We Here at THee Wedding Warehouse LOVE him!CAn't wait to help him plan his wedding in 5 yrs. I hope eveyone saw us.. wait... I hope no-one saw us. Ha, I like to pretend that no one is watching so I don't get so nervous. We are having another cake eating contest this Saturday the 12th.... at noon. Winner gets a free cake up to $500.00 value from Custom Cakes by Elizabeth. Her cakes are awesome, but how good does 14 servings taste at once!?!Can you do it? This had been a dream of ours for a very long time and we are so happy to be a part of so many peoples lives. We get to be a special part of the biggest day of some one's life in so many ways. I hope we stick in our bride's minds the way they stick in ours.

There are a few weddings that even after 25 years of doing flowers that I say, "Oh my gosh!". This wedding was past Gila Bend on a dairy farm... yes a real dairy farm... and yes in the middle.... of an alfalfa field. My sinuses have not been the same since. We had the honor of doing the flowers and Freshlook Images Photography took the wonderful pictures. We love the way they mix photo journalism and posed photography to tell a story from beginning to end.

It's Almost Summer

Wonderful Cakes

You know girls its not just the way the cake looks its also the way it tastes. Don't be mistaken by thinking that NO ONE eats the cake... that's just not true. You want your cake to be gorgeous and taste phenomenal. We do cake tastings every Saturday so not only do you get to create the the cake of your dreams you can taste it. Ha Ha. Channel 3

April came to our warehouse this morning at 5 AM to shoot the weather... so that meant most of us here at Thee Wedding Warehouse were here before 4 AM to get ready. For those of you that caught us on TV... remember we are not TV professionals and still get a little nervous when they say 40,000 people are watching and we are going live... AHHH! A few special thanks are in order. First to Patrick and Melissa who are getting married in May of 2009 and came this morning to be our token bride and groom. Next to Champagne Images & Spa who also came that early in the morning to make everyone beautiful. Molina's Bridal and Tuxedo provided the beautiful Maggie Sottero gown and very hip chocolate brown tux. All About Catering provided the coffee that everyone so desperately needed and lots of wonderful food. Cindy from Reeve's Photography also was here taking pictures. Kim from Event Essentials also provided wonderful paper selections. Last but not least Its A Celebration Party Rentals and BBJ Linens... opps I almost forgot the cake. Custom Cakes by Elizabeth provided the scrumptious cake that everyone tasted. If you haven't stopped by our store yet.. Whats stopping you?
